Remarks – Winner of the opening round of the EOS 17/18 here in Warsaw, Xray factory driver Bruno Coelho has been running the latest ’18 edition of the Slovakian made XB2. His car is equipped with aluminium uprights, a 26 gram front brass bulkhead and a 50 gram under LiPo weight. The Portuguese driver is also using a new front wing mount, due to be released in the next weeks.

Chassis Focus – Kaja Novotny

Remarks – Czech talent Kaja Novotny got the runner-up spot here at the Hudy Arena behind the wheel of a Xray XT2 in the Modified Truck division. His truck is equipped with a brass bulkhead, aluminium uprights and camber link supports, an under LiPo steel weight and a set of Hiro Seiko screws. He is also using prototype carbon stiffeners on his chassis.

Chassis Focus – Joern Neumann

Remarks – Former Champion Joern Neumann is running the latest 4wd Serpent SDX-4 buggy here at the Hudy Arena. His car is equipped with hard swaybars and a one-piece steering system that doesn’t feature a servo saver. He also glued the wishbone stiffeners to the arms themselves so as to obtain a stiffer result, and added a hole to lower the camber link on the rear shock tower.

Chassis Focus – Martin Bayer

Radio/Servo: Sanwa/Savox
Remarks – Having recently switched to Hobbywing electrics and EZ Power batteries, Martin Bayer is in attendance here at what is his home track driving the 2017 version of the XB4. His car features some option parts, such as aluminium uprights and steering rack, front double joint driveshafts, graphite arms and a carbon steering brace. He is also using steel gears inside his differentials.

Chassis Focus – Neil Cragg

Chassis: Team Associated B64
Motor: Reedy Sonic 4.5T

Remarks – British driver Neil Cragg is running the new B64 from Team Associated, making its European debut at the EOS here in Trencin. With this being the first outing for the buggy on carpet, Neil is using heavy duty gears for the high bite conditions, as well as stiffer springs and sway bars conceived for this kind of surface. His car also sports a pre-production aluminium option steering rack.
