Remarks – Rising Norwegian talent Daniel Kobbevik reached his first EOS A-Main here at the Hudy Arena driving a YZ-2 CA. His buggy is equipped with the same prototype rear brace and shock springs seen on Lee Martin’s car. Daniel is also using rear aluminium uprights.

Remarks – Polish ace Michal Orlowski is debuting the production version of the new Cougar KC that has been developed in the last months. The new buggy now features a three position differential height adjustment and new gull-wing shaped front wishbones. Included in the kit are belts and top decks to allow for 4 different motor positions to comply with different traction levels. Michal is also using optional aluminium rear uprights that enable axle height changes.

Chassis Focus – Bruno Coelho

Remarks – Xray factory driver Bruno Coelho is running the 2017 version of the XB2 equipped with a number of option parts here at the team’s home track. Fitted with graphite arms on a carbon fibre chassis plate, his car features aluminium uprights, camber link plates and steering system, a brass front bulkhead and a 50g steel under-LiPo weight. The Portuguese driver is also using steel differential gears and Hiro Seiko screws.

Chassis Focus – Neil Cragg

Chassis: Team Associated B6

Remarks – Team Associated Factory Driver Neil Cragg is running a B6 equipped with aluminium steering bellcrank and rear arm mount, Schelle rear uprights and titanium top screws (the chassis screws remaining the standard ones issued in the kit). He is also using a steel weight plates under the servo, the ESC and the battery, with the addition of a brass front bulkhead. The former WC also opted for mounting a Pro-Line front wing at the bottom of the front shock tower.

Chassis Focus – Lee Martin

Chassis: Yokomo YZ-2 CA

Remarks – Team Yokomo star Lee Martin topped the controlled practice here in Trencin behind the wheel of the Yokomo YZ-2 CA. Fitted with an LMR rear wing and a Pro-Line front spoiler, his car is equipped with the same prototype Yatabe springs used in the first two rounds of EOS and features a new 3D printed, prototype brace that connects the rear shock tower to the chassis and is said to drastically improve the forward traction. With this improvement coming from the new part, Lee is now able to run a slightly softer shock setup that gives him an improved feeling with the buggy. He is also using titanium screws and turnbuckles.
