Remarks – Xray team driver Bruno Coelho is set to start from pole for today’s A-Main with his XB8 ’18 edition. His buggy is equipped with a number of aluminium options including the new 2.5mm chassis, front double joint driveshafts and steel gear diffs. In the electronic department we also find some news, as the Portuguese is using a pre-production “G3” motor from Hobbywing due to hit the market in about one month and batteries from new sponsor Sunpadow. Bruno is also using Hiro Seiko titanium and aluminium screws and a WTF cooling fan.

Remarks – Polish ace Michal Orlowski recorded the fastest qualifying time with his Cougar KC. His buggy is equipped with an alloy steering system and carbon chassis, while together with Schumacher’s engineer Tristram Neal Michal is testing some new suspension parts and working on the chassis flex, but no further details have been disclosed.

Remarks – Long time Team Associated driver Neil Cragg topped 2WD seeding here in Daun driving a B6 that sports a number of option parts. The front suspension arms are the flat one used on the B6D, while the rear ones are taken from the B64. Neil is also using chassis weights, a front brass bulkhead and a Pro-Line front wing. The shock pistons are made by TMG.

Remarks – Reigning 4WD EOS and World Champion Bruno Coelho is running the latest ’18 update of the successful Xray XB4. His car is equipped with a WTF fan and Hiro Seiko titanium and aluminium screws. As for option parts, the Portuguese is using graphite arms, aluminium steering rack, front ECS driveshafts and 12° C-Hubs.

Remarks – Swedish ace David Ronnefalk is making his comeback here at the EOS running a prototype buggy from HB Racing. Sharing the plastic parts with the 413 – although the compound is now harder – the rest of the car is quite different from its predecessor, with particular attention paid to weight distribution. The chassis is narrower and features plastic side guards, while the layout now resembles that of HB’s 1/8th electric car. David’s mentor and mechanic Adrien Bertin let us know that this version is a hybrid, and that further tests are going to be carried out on dirt in the next weeks, while the car is expected to hit the market at the beginning of 2018.

Remarks – Reigning EOS 2WD Champion Michal Orlowski has been running a LRP powered Schumacher Cougar KF2 equipped with a number of option parts, such as aluminium uprights and hubs, a carbon chassis, rear roll bar and titanium turnbuckles. Michal is also using a brand new Aerox bodyshell, which sits lower on the car and is slightly lighter than the standard version.
