Remarks – Finnish young talent Joona Haatanen managed to qualify 4th for the 4WD A-Main at the third round of the EOS in Trencin. His B64 sports a Brass B-Plate, 45g brass weights behind the motor and a prototype steering rack that offers different ackermann options and is still undergoing testing.

Remarks – Xray team manager Martin Bayer TQ’d Round 3 of the EOS at the Hudy Arena behind the wheel of the Slovakian made XB4 ’18 version. His car is equipped with graphite arms and steering blocks, aluminium 12° C-Hubs and Uprights, aluminium steering rack and front ECS. The list of option parts is completed by a Hiro Seiko titanium screws set.

Remarks – British Team Yokomo driver Lee Martin is running a YZ-2CA equipped with a number of option parts, such as aluminium bulkhead mounts, vented slipper pad, steel front arm mounts and titanium screws. Coming from his own company LMR are motor screws and an under lipo 55g weight. Lee is also running pre-production wishbones on his car that sport a slightly different shape so as to reduce flex and are also realized in harder compound.

Remarks – TQ here at the Hudy Arena in the 2WD Class, Team Schumacher’s Michal Orlowski is running the same Cougar KC he used in his last EOS outing in Daun. Happy with the car, he only underwent some minor tweaks to the setup, while the biggest improvement for this round came from his electrics. Playing for the first time with different rotors and timing on his LRP X22 motor last week, he implemented what he had learnt and went for a bigger (12.7mm) rotor and a higher (+2.5) timing finding this would give his buggy an improved and better delivered power and a firmer braking, which helped him throughout the hairpins of the Slovakian track.

Remarks – Winner of the last EOS encounter in Daun, Neil Cragg is debuting Team Associated’s RC10B6.1 Buggy. The new car features an updated gearbox that allows a differential height adjustment and makes maintenance easier thanks to quicker diff access. The chassis is some 2mm shorter than the previous version and the front shock tower has also been updated. Neil is using a complete aluminium steering system, aluminium uprights and 67mm driveshafts. A Pro-Line front wing and steel chassis weight complete the option part list.

Remarks – British ace Lee Martin is running the Japanese company’s YZ-4 SF with a small number of option parts, such as aluminium bell cranks, titanium turnbuckles and titanium screws. In terms of electrics, his Vanguard speedo is equipped with an aluminium fan. Lee is also using a prototype Scorpion battery, LMR battery post and LMR 27 wing.
