Remarks – Former Champion Jorn Neumann took his Schumacher L1 to a second consecutive EOS win in the last round of the Championship in Steyregg, Austria. Having sealed the win taking the first two legs of the A-Main, his car is configured for dry conditions, and is equipped with the new HD top deck, 8 degrees aluminium caster blocks, Carbon suspension arms and Kashima coated shock bodies.

Remarks – Young Austrian driver Lucas Grainer had a great EOS debut here in Steyregg, qualifying third overall in the 2WD class and ending up fifth after the finals behind the wheel of his Xray XB2 ’19. His car is pretty much out of the box, the only option part he’s using being the battery mount.

Remarks – The only factory driver representing the American brand here in Steyregg, Joona Haatanen concluded his EOS campaign winning A2 to finish second on the Austrian astroturf track. The Finn was behind the wheel of a pretty standard version of the B6.1, only equipped with an aluminium steering system and steel weights under the Lipo and the servo. Joona was also using a full JConcepts aero kit, with the F2 bodyshell and Aero rear wing.

Remarks – Finnish talent Joona Haatanen is giving the new Team Associated B74 buggy its EOS debut here on the Arena33 astroturf track. With the completely new platform – only the rear shocks and few other bits remaining the same from its predecessor – Joona found new speed and consistency, pointing out the higher cornering speed and increased ease of handling as the better improvements over the B64.

Remarks – Young Norwegian Daniel Kobbevik took what is his best career result on astroturf here in Andernach, finishing second overall after taking the win in A3. Unlike his team mate Bruno Coelho, Daniel raced the whole meeting with his carpet car, and after struggling in the wet conditions the full potential of his buggy came out in the dry last leg of finals. His car is pretty standard, only equipped with a rear aluminium camber link plate and rear XB4 graphite wishbones.

Remarks – Reigning EOS Champion Michal Orlowski has presented us his example of the British manufacturer’s latest release, the Cougar Laydown. As the name suggests, the car features a laydown transmission that makes it easier to drive in higher traction surfaces compared to its predecessor, and sports new side pods as well as new shock shafts with a screw on top. Michal’s car is equipped with a ‘-5 chassis’ (which is 5mm shorter than the standard version) along with UJ driveshafts.
