Remarks – Defending champion in both buggy classes, Lee Martin topped 2WD practice here at the Hudy Arena running a pretty standard version of the Japanese manufacturer’s YZ-2. The car is equipped with Yatabe springs and a steel front suspension mount, a front JConcepts Finnisher wing and a rear LMR prototype wing.

Remarks – Winner of the last 2wd encounter held here at the Hudy Arena, Polish talent Michal Orlowski is running a Cougar KF2 equipped with the low grip conversion kit. The car also sports a rear option sway bar, a ‘rear shock mount’ kit to enable the shocks to be mounted on the rear side of the tower instead of the standard front side, and front 5 degrees aluminium steering knuckles.

Remarks – 3-time EOS champion in the 4WD Buggy class Jorn Neuman is in attendance here at the Nurburgring running a pretty stock version of the SRX-4, only equipped with an aluminium chassis, aluminium rear hubs and the special “EOS” axles and hex designed to match the different offset of the Schumacher wheels. The motor cover has been machined to make room for the cooling fan.

Remarks – Swedish ace David Ronnefalk is running a version of the D413 that features some development parts the team has been testing for carpet racing. The chassis is 6mm longer, and the bulkheads feature higher roll centre positions, while the layout has been changed with the motor moved in the front for a better balance. He is also using graphite arms inserts and the optional aluminium shock caps.

Remarks – Winner of the last 2WD EOS encounter, Polish driver Michal Orlowski resumes business driving a standard version of the Schumacher Cougar KF2, only equipped with the rear mounted rear shocks conversion kit. Also, the rear arms are from the Cougar SV2 buggy.

Remarks – Young Norwegian talent Joakim Nicolaisen is running a pretty stock B5M in the Light version, which features the 3-gear transmission. The car is equipped with titanium screws, a brass bulkhead, hard suspension arms and Ghea hinge pin inserts. Joakim also chose to use a Pro-Line wing and bodyshell.
