Neumann takes easy EOS 4WD Buggy Victory

Having claimed victory in 2WD Buggy earlier in the day, Joern Neumann made it a buggy double at the TLR/Spektrum Euro Offroad Series in Poland as he also secured an early overall win in 4WD. In a class of his own in 4WD, none of rivals could come even close to challenging the reigning champion.

The Top Qualifier made light work of the opening leg to take a comfortable win over Durango team-mate Hupo Hönigl. Leg 2 saw an even more dominant performance from the German as he again took the win from Hönigl who just managed to see off a serious challenge from former German National Champion Benni Gröschel.  Also third in Leg 1, almost 4-seconds behind the Austrian, Gröschel this time crossed the line just 55/1000ths behind and is set to give him a good run for the overall runner-up spot here in Poznan in the final leg which Neumann will sit out.  The result sees Neumann remain unbeaten in the series in 4WD with this being his fourth consecutive Euro Offroad Series win.
